Brastemp commissioned designer
Jum Nakao an installation for the release of its new product "eggo". Eggo it’s an egg shaped mini washing machine especial for washing intimate and delicate clothes.
Jum wanted to do something that reminded of birth. So he figured a stork bringing the egg hanged from its beak. We built a giant flying origami stork made of 180gr tracing paper. The release was on the 26th June at
Imageneer Gallery -São Paulo, Brazil.
I developed the paper parts with the help of Arieli Marcondes. Puppet designer
Naná Lavander, developed the flying mechanism and head of the stork. Graphic designer
Pop did the visual design, Paulo Beto the sound design and Z4 the Construction Co-ordination.
