IN.USE was born as a questioning to the great amount of "garbage" that is produced each season among fashion labels, with pieces that are not sold. We make new womenswear designs from the combination of these old-new clothes (raw material).
Old because they were made for a previous season, and new because nobody has weared them. We use either women and men apparel as raw material.
The new garment we design, has still some characteristics of the original one, as the way it is finished, tags, supplies, etc. But doesn't have the raw material's morphology any more.
Our main experimentation and action is in the patterns, selection and mix of fabrics and finishings.
The designs, although being made handraft, have an industrial look because of the original garment's heritage.
